Tweed & Hickory, an Adventure in Lifestyle, Coming to East Point Shopping
Saint John, NB – Tweed & Hickory, a Canadian retail chain that offers its customers an “Adventure in Lifestyle”, is coming to Saint John’s East Point Shopping. Tweed & Hickory specialize in selling Ladies’ and Men’s fashions as well as a unique blend of high quality lifestyle products including kitchenware, home accessories and gourmet foods, all the while promising to provide their clientele with the ultimate shopping experience.
Work on the new store, to be located next to the Le Chateau lady’s shop at East Point, is now underway with an opening anticipated for early Fall of this year.
Tweed and Hickory is a privately owned Canadian retail chain that has been in operation over 50 years with retail outlets in Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Much of the company’s original growth came from the acquisition of established retailers such as the original Tweed & Hickory store in Sydney, Nova Scotia and Fredericton’s Towne Shoppe. More recently Tweed & Hickory have opened their own stores under the Tweed & Hickory banner applying the same concepts and principles that have made all of their outlets so successful. Although the merchandise mix is similar across their group of stores, every location has components that reflect the specific tastes and needs of the surrounding communities.
